About Us; The Lawsons Goldsmiths Team
We feel incredibly lucky to have built such a loyal customer base over the years — and in 2026, we’re proudly celebrating 33 years in business. Many of you have been part of our journey for a long time, and we’ve loved getting to know you along the way.
For those we haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting, here’s a little introduction to the brilliant team behind Lawsons Goldsmiths, Henley; and the unique talents that make us who we are.
We’re a true team in every sense of the word, and Lawsons simply wouldn’t be the same without every single person below.
Jenny
Co-leading the business alongside Laura, Jenny brings over 25 years of jewellery expertise to Lawsons.
Before Henley, she specialised in production and development for London designers in Bond Street, crafting complex and exceptional pieces for royalty, A-listers, film productions… and now, for you.
A goldsmith by trade, a GIA-trained stone expert, and our resident jewellery problem-solver, Jenny is the one to turn to for anything from diamonds and gemstones to bespoke commissions and “can this be done?” challenges. (Spoiler: it usually can.)
Laura
Laura co-owns Lawsons alongside Jenny, together steering the business into its exciting next chapter. A true creative force, she has a remarkable talent for taking your ideas — however simple or wonderfully ambitious — and turning them into reality.
Laura served her apprenticeship and trained in the heart of London’s Hatton Garden, giving her a depth of craft and a brilliant eye for design.
Her ties to Henley run deep — her father rowed for Leander at the Royal Regatta and Upper Thames in the Masters, and at 77 is still competing and winning nationally and internationally with Bedford Star. Henley has been part of her life long before it was her home, and she now lives here happily with her husband and young family.
Alina
Our very own Swiss marvel, Alina combines beautiful design with exceptional traditional craftsmanship.
She has a wonderful ability to take an idea and transform it into a stunning finished piece, and she’s equally skilled when it comes to the technical side too, including expertly using a PUK welder when a torch is just a little too enthusiastic for delicate repairs or manufacturing.

Steve
If Steve doesn’t know it about jewellery repairs or watches, it probably isn’t worth knowing.
His workbench is practically his second home, and after decades of perfecting his craft, there’s not much he hasn’t seen, fixed or brought back to life.
His other speciality? Dad jokes. Also finely honed over many years. Pop in for a repair… stay for the comedy.
Kate
Kate is the calm, capable force helping keep everything behind the scenes running like clockwork.
And trust us, that’s no small task when we’re handling an average of 200 jobs a month, all with their own deadlines, complexities and special requirements.
From organisation to stock control, Kate helps make sure the wheels keep turning smoothly and that the pieces you’re looking for are right where they should be, ready and waiting.
Sue
Around here, we lovingly call Sue “the magpie”… but whatever you do, don’t tell her husband.
Her passion for jewellery is absolutely unmatched, and she has an uncanny ability to spot exactly what will suit you — sometimes before you even know it yourself.
If you’ve ever walked in “just browsing” and left with something you adore… there’s a good chance Sue had something to do with it.
Evie
Evie is our talented apprentice goldsmith, training in all aspects of the craft and becoming a wonderful part of the Lawsons family.
She’s enthusiastic, eager to learn, and always ready to get stuck into every corner of the business — all with a smile on her face.
Whether she’s helping behind the scenes or assisting customers in store, Evie brings brilliant energy to the team and is one to watch for the future.
